EU Buyer

About the Role:
Fabletics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer to join our EU team in Berlin. As a Buyer, you will play a key role in developing product assortments that resonate with the European market, aligning with the Fabletics brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the buying strategy for Fabletics EU, ensuring that product assortments meet market demands and align with brand values.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and sales data to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Take full control of inventory management by monitoring and adjusting inventory levels to ensure optimal stock.
- Make decisions regarding reorders and inventory forecasts, ensuring a balance between avoiding excess stock and preventing stockouts.
- Regularly review sales performance to refine the product mix and buying strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless go-to-market process.
- Ensure that all product launches are well-coordinated and aligned with the broader brand strategy.
- Manage product price points based on demand, competition, and market trends to ensure that our offerings are both competitive and profitable.
- Stay informed about fashion trends across various categories, with a focus on ensuring our product offerings are competitive and in line with market expectations.
- Source and develop new styles that meet the needs of the European market.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in buying or merchandising within the fashion industry.
- Passion for Fashion - A deep understanding of fashion trends and a genuine passion for the industry.
- Analytical Skills - Strong ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to make informed decisions. Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools is required.
- Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
- Language Skills - Fluency in English is required; additional European language skills are a plus.
