Senior Laboratory Assistant

The Senior Laboratory Assistant will play a key role in developing and conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis and experiments using advanced equipment and techniques for medical device testing. This position requires a strong background in chemical analysis and experience with HPLC/-MS, GC/-MS, IPC-MS, FT-IR, and other analytical instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine analysis on various instrumentation, including HPLC/-MS, GC/-MS, IPC-MS, and FT-IR.
- Develop, document, and carry out method validations, and prepare sample preparation protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to create, review, and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate and facilitate the solving of any instrument failures, and perform advanced instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and implement deviations, laboratory investigations, and CAPAs as needed.
- Participate in various tasks, including method design, development, validation, and analysis.
- 10 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong working knowledge in a regulated environment.
- HPLC/-MS, GC/-MS, IPC-MS, IC, FT-IR experience is required.
- Strong documentation skills and analytical method development and validation experience preferred.
- Proven to be self-motivated and has strong initiative skills.
- Detail oriented and independently driven.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook).
