Production Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at Rottendorf Pharma. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and functionality of all production equipment in our development department.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous availability and functionality of all production equipment in our development department.
• Work with our suppliers to optimize and improve our existing production equipment, taking into account the high demands of GMP-compliant production.
• Oversee the acquisition and implementation of new equipment on a project basis, including planning, conception, and specification of the equipment. Additionally, support the qualification and validation process, as well as the handover to the relevant department.
• Manage the timely completion of maintenance, inspections, and calibrations of process equipment and operating materials.
• Develop and implement new technologies and processes to improve our production capabilities, including containment and continuous manufacturing.
• Provide technical and regulatory expertise in production technology during audits by authorities and customers.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a technician or degree in engineering with a focus on process technology or production technology.
• Experience in comparable roles, with a proven track record of successfully resolving complex tasks.
• Basic knowledge of measurement and control technology, as well as a thorough understanding of technical processes, products, and production equipment.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a results-oriented work style.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively to different stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Experience in project management, leadership, and good English language skills.
