About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the supervision of internal and cross-site infrastructures, from conception to commissioning and support. You will also be responsible for planning, installing, and operating infrastructure components that meet the requirements for processing confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage internal and cross-site infrastructures, ensuring they meet the required standards and security protocols.
- Plan, install, and operate infrastructure components, including network devices, servers, and storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with BSI IT basic protection requirements and identify higher protection requirements.
- Administer Windows and Linux systems, including managing certificates, ensuring compliance with encryption, and supporting remote maintenance products.
- Provide support in the areas of storage and network, and document existing systems and solutions.
Requirements
- Completed IT studies or completed training, e.g. as an IT specialist in system integration, alternatively a comparable qualification.
- In-depth understanding of system and network solutions, in particular products from Secunet, Genua, and Rhode & Schwarz.
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
- Know-how in the areas of firewall, networking, and virtualization, as well as experience with storage systems.
- Knowledge of process management and ITIL-based work.
- German language skills, both written and spoken.
