Your Mission

At north.io, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our research team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing geodata and geoinformatics research projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant completion.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee geodata and geoinformatics research projects, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.
  • Handle tasks independently and coordinate with consortium partners to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Manage project accounting and controlling, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings, both domestically and internationally, representing the project and providing updates.
  • Utilize project management tools for effective planning, documentation, and communication.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager, ideally within software development projects.
  • Experience in project accounting and controlling.
  • Analytical mindset, business-oriented approach to project management.
  • Agile mindset, strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Persistence and excellent abilities to handle challenges.
  • Fluent in German and English written and spoken.
