We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Architect to lead the development and optimization of our cutting-edge blockchain platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical architecture meets the requirements for feature development and driving our technical architecture forward in alignment with our product vision.
Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of and oversee our platform service infrastructure, ensuring ease of use, scalability, and quality.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams to assist them in implementing our strategic technical vision.
Develop and provide tools and frameworks to standardize our developer experience for consistency and improved developer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to drive our technical architecture forward and ensure it is aligned with our product vision.
Lead strategic discussions related to our technology stack and architecture in collaboration with the Director of Engineering.
Develop a migration plan for evolving our current platform into an end-state architecture.
Identify areas for improvement and innovation, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our backend development.
Share knowledge through documentation, presentations, and training sessions, promoting continuous learning and skill development within the team.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and Kotlin for writing production-ready, future-ready code. Go is also a plus.
Strong understanding of distributed, event-driven, micro-service architecture and REST API design. In particular, experience with Kafka.
Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including test-driven development, unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
Prior experience working in a cross-functional environment with Product Managers and Designers.
Technical background in building and optimizing backend web applications and reactive programming knowledge is a plus.
