Cloud-Native Architect with AWS and Openshift Expertise

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud-Native Architect to join our team at Hellowork Consultants. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient cloud-native architectures using AWS and Openshift.

Technical Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in Java, Spring, and microservices.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrable experience in AWS-based solutions (e.g., IAM, EC2, S3, etc.).
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing APIs following OpenAPI standards.
  • Solid experience with AVRO formats, Kafka schema design, and topic management.
  • Experience working in a cloud-native environment with scalable, resilient infrastructures.

Skills:

  • Kafka: Expertise in managing Kafka topics, using Kafka Streams API, and designing event-driven systems.
  • Microservices: Experience designing scalable and maintainable microservices architectures.
  • AWS Cloud: Proficiency in designing and deploying applications using AWS services.
  • Kubernetes & Helm: Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and Helm for application management in containerized environments.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Experience using Grafana and Loki for system observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • API Development: Strong skills in designing and deploying APIs according to best practices such as OpenAPI specifications.
  • Mentoring: Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills while contributing to project success.
