What you'll do
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at SAP, with a focus on ABAP development for S4HANA. This role offers a unique opportunity to further develop personally and professionally, with a range of benefits and a supportive team environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a development team. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, working with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Working in accordance with Agile development models (Scrum), requiring you to be self-driven, take decisions independently, and be flexible to cater to the team's demands.
- Playing an integral role in the entire software development lifecycle, where you can take on special roles and responsibilities depending on your strengths and interests.

- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields.
- Strong programming and analytical skills; first ABAP skills would be beneficial.
- Willingness to embrace new topics and technologies; demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Engineering practices and cloud qualities.
- Strong desire to overcome obstacles and make your work benefit SAP's customers.
- Excellent written and communication skills in German and English language.
- Knowledge and track record on deep learning concepts, machine learning, large language, and foundation models is a plus.
