Job Summary
We are seeking a Department Manager to oversee and implement a clienteling mindset among their teams in our Hamburg, Neuer Wall store.
Your Opportunity
As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and coaching individuals to achieve assigned targets and goals. You will also be accountable for business development, talent leadership, and brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement action plans defined with HQ and Flagship/Store Director
- Analyse business results based on corporate reports
- Assign targeted quantitative and qualitative goals to the department team(s)
- Communicate high-quality feedback and reporting to the Store Manager or Store team
- Build relationships with Inventory and Buying stakeholders
- Monitor business environment, including local competition
- Keep store team informed about store performance
Talent Leadership and Development
- Create and maintain a positive work environment, consistent with Balenciaga behaviours
- Build strong relationships with Recruitment and HR partners
- Motivate and challenge the team to drive business results and job satisfaction
Brand Promotion
- Behave as a Balenciaga Ambassador, sustain and promote the culture of the brand internally and externally
- Ensure Balenciaga Signature and Client experience are executed and consistent over time
Requirements
- Commitment to take part in an innovative project
- Product sensitivity and a strong market/fashion trends knowledge
- Similar experience in a managerial position
- Significant experience in the luxury industry: client portfolio
- Clienteling mindset: client engagement and loyalty
- Precision, organisational skills, and adaptability
- Fluent in English & German
