About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist with Dutch language proficiency to join our team at BASF. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing activities across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and adhere to company procurement guidelines, conducting Purchase-to-Pay process tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to handle orders in accordance with guidelines, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving non-conformities.
- Enter and maintain master data of contracts in our IT systems, serving as the central point of contact for operational procurement processes.
- Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including internal customers, suppliers, and colleagues from finance departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field, or equivalent vocational education.
- Initial professional experience in business and commerce, preferably in purchasing.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, with proficiency in French and/or German a plus.
- Good knowledge of IT standard applications, experience with SAP or other procurement-related IT programs a plus.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide consultative services.
