About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth in the DACH region. As a Strategic Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy that aligns with our company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy that targets key customers and partners in the DACH region.
  • Territory Management: Manage and maintain relationships with existing distributors and partners, while identifying new opportunities.
  • Business Development: Build strong relationships with indirect customers across channels, including retailers, e-tailers, DIY stores, and APRs.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional and marketing plans that support regional business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure effective stock management, distribution, and customer service to meet sales targets.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and manage P&L, forecasting accuracy, and regular budget updates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, logistics, and customer care, to ensure alignment and success.
  • Travel and Meetings: Regularly visit customers, conduct store checks, and participate in local fairs and events to promote brand presence and recognition.
  • Product Launches: Assist in launching new products and organizing trainings with distributors and Netatmo's training manager.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about competition, market trends, and local specificities related to smart home topics.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in high-tech premium products or moving into a leadership position using previous business and market expertise.
  • Autonomy and Problem-Solving: High degree of autonomy to take quick decisions and capable of solving complex problems.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Customer-oriented, data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good networker, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team Player: Team player and able to convince others to join your (or company) directions, if necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Language Proficiency: German and English are obligatory, French is a plus.

Location: Ideally located in Germany with quarterly visits to Netatmo headquarters. Work from Paris office possible.

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
