About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Good Hood GmbH. As a key member of our backend team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Rails API.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features and improvements to our existing API
  • Collaborate with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration and user experience
  • Work closely with our product team to understand and meet their requirements
  • Contribute to the development of our tech stack, including Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of its ecosystem
  • Experience with designing and implementing scalable and efficient APIs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
