Closing Coordination Specialist IFRS 17

Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating IFRS 17 quarter close activities across our organization. This will involve communicating and collecting closing deliverables, as well as ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track the IFRS 17 closing calendar, ensuring all necessary data is submitted and processed correctly.
  • Plan and coordinate Actuals data loads, monitoring completeness and consistency throughout the process.
  • Track validation rules and quality assurance measures to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of control reports to monitor progress.
  • Control late adjustments and escalate any issues that may impact quality or timeliness.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure seamless data delivery and interface changes.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in accounting and reporting, preferably in a multi-GAAP environment. You should have a good understanding of data processing, data analytics, and data management, as well as experience in process design and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Studied business administration, economics, information technologies, mathematics, or a degree in insurance business administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and reporting, preferably in a multi-GAAP environment.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with a willingness to accept and implement challenging topics in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent command of English; German language skills are an advantage.
