TenneT is a leading player in the energy transition, and we're looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Digital & Data team in Bayreuth. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the technical foundation of our TenneT Data Cloud Platform (PaaS).
Key Responsibilities- Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and Terraform.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate platform operations and ensure reliability.
- Integrate monitoring and alerting systems for monitoring platform health and performance.
- Optimize platform performance and efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments using Azure Pipelines or GitHub.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, including Virtual Machines and Data Lake Service.
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC tools for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Containerization and orchestration skills using Docker and Kubernetes.
- DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in German (both verbal and written) and English.
