Senior Financial Accountant

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at PolyTALENT GmbH, a leading company in the tooling industry. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in leading and organizing the entire financial accounting department.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies and plans
• Oversee the execution and monitoring of all traditional accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
• Prepare and create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Support and carry out controlling tasks, including budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis
• Prepare and provide financial reports and analyses for management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants during year-end audits and tax returns
• Continuously optimize and develop accounting processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate with external payroll accounting and ensure smooth processing

**Requirements**

• Several years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a leadership role
• Solid knowledge of accounting according to HGB and tax regulations
• Experience in controlling and financial statement preparation
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Analytical skills, strong affinity for numbers, and a structured approach to work
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
