**Principal DevOps Engineer Position**
Solactive AG, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a seasoned Principal DevOps Engineer to join our international team. Our company has grown significantly since its founding in 2007, and we are now one of the key players in the indexing space.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented team of DevOps engineers, ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring their expertise to help the team grow, overcome challenges, and promote best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders, including developers and business teams.
- Design and ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure.
- Promote practices like CI/CD and infrastructure as a code.
- Mentor team members.
- Drive the automation and standardization of our processes.
- 5+ years of experience working in a DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Experience working with open-source infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis of systems and applications (e.g., Zabbix, InfluxDB, Grafana, ...) as well as of automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Rundeck, ...)
- Hands-on experience in non-cloud technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge in Linux, Python, and Kubernetes.
- Fluent in English; German Language is a plus.
