Project Manager External Production Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager External Production to join our team at HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH. As a key member of our Electronics Planning department, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the transfer process of internally produced orders to external manufacturing partners.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a standardized changeover process from in-house to external production
- Ensure a smooth process between production, purchasing, development, and project departments
- Define and procure all necessary requirements for external commissioning
- Monitor and report on the progress of individual conversions and stakeholder management
- Identify optimization potential in the procurement process and implement corresponding measures
- Communicate with external partners and suppliers to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines
- Support in the selection of suitable suppliers and service providers
- Prepare and initiate make-or-buy decisions
- Organize the provision of materials or their transfer to the external service provider
Requirements
- Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in production control, purchasing, or comparable positions
- Experience in planning and managing external service providers and suppliers
- Knowledge of materials management and purchasing
- Knowledge of the production process for printed circuit boards is advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High assertiveness
- Business fluent in German and English
