Vorwerk Digital is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IAM strategies and policies to enhance secure access control for our development teams.
  • Design and standardize security architectures for cloud infrastructures in alignment with industry standards.
  • Manage and optimize identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, AWS IAM, and Midpoint.
  • Implement robust security measures including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and public key infrastructure (PKI).
  • Automate security operations and tools to reduce the need for manual intervention.
  • Continuously enhance security protocols within build environments, including Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Participate in the drafting and updating of security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet security requirements and adopt best practices.
  • Provide expert third-level support to the Service Management Team.
  • Lead security assessments and advocate for the integration of SSO in collaboration with Digital R&D App Owners.
  • Enhance self-service capabilities for platforms like AWS, Phrase, and OpsGenie by managing appropriate group ownerships.
  • Deploy IAM configurations using infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform.

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional experience in IT security and IAM, ideally within cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security, including platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Proficient in using IAM tools and technologies such as Okta, Entra ID, and Midpoint.
  • Experienced in securing build environments, such as Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of authentication methods, encryption techniques, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Skilled in automating security processes using scripting languages and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team and communicating effectively in English.
