Part-Time Mathematics

We are seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Mathematics and Statistics at our European campus in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to share their expertise with students and contribute to the academic success of our institution.

As a mathematics and statistics adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in these subjects to adult learners. You will also be expected to:

• Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed and conveys a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning
• Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations
• Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments
• Demonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program
• Provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Additionally, you should have professional experience in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. We prefer candidates who can teach in multiple disciplines and have experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education.

This part-time adjunct faculty position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
