Senior Mobile Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team at VR Smart Guide GmbH. As a senior mobile engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our FinCheck application, working closely with our web development team to ensure seamless integration and a unified user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable mobile applications using React Native
  • Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications, libraries, and extensions
  • Write automated tests to ensure code reliability and stability
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Manage mobile application releases and ensure timely deployment
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency
  • Enable other teams to reuse common components across platforms
  • Collaborate with the API team to ensure API requirements meet the needs of both mobile and web applications
  • Raise awareness of shared APIs and codebase among team members
  • Advocate for code quality and best practices throughout the development process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering, or relevant proven experience
  • At least 4 years of experience as a mobile engineer, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with React Native
  • Experience working with TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of APIs and their role in mobile and web development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
