Logistics Program Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Program Specialist to join our team at QVC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for supporting the vendor onboarding process, vendor management, and exception management to ensure a seamless drop ship experience for our customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisition of drop ship vendors by participating in vendor meetings to discuss drop ship capabilities and QVC's requirements.
  • Coordinate the setup of carrier services with vendors, QVC internal stakeholders, and carriers to ensure a smooth and cost-effective process.
  • Manage the onboarding process for vendors, including briefings on QVC's requirements.
  • Ensure QVC's priorities and timelines are aligned with vendors, particularly during QVC's daily offers.
  • Communicate with vendors and carriers to ensure vendor onboarding and drop ship execution run smoothly.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure a good customer experience and compliance.
  • Continuously improve by actively managing vendor fulfillment performance.
  • Collaborate with the drop ship team and other QVC departments to develop solutions for new use cases, systematic optimizations, process improvements, and expansions of our capabilities.
  • Exchange information with the international drop ship team to establish common principles, processes, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in a logistics company (preferably with a focus on transportation and logistics) or a degree with a focus on logistics.
  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics processes, including intra-, distribution, and reverse logistics.
  • Strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent customer and service orientation, as well as good communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Good organizational and conceptual skills, including experience in managing cross-functional activities.
  • Ability to make decisions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to implement analyses into action plans.
  • Engagement, creativity, and flexibility to shape the further development of a growing business unit.
  • Excellent German language skills in writing and speaking (on a native speaker level).
  • Fluent English language skills in writing and speaking.
