We're seeking a visionary Backend Engineer to join our team at amberSearch, where we're pushing the boundaries of data accessibility with our AI-based search engine. If you're passionate about shaping the future of software architecture and thrive in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment, read on.
About the Role
- Architect, develop, and optimize server-side components for our cutting-edge AI-based search engine.
- Implement efficient algorithms, ensuring data security and integrity, while troubleshooting performance issues.
- Define and enhance submodules to scale our software architecture, aiming to transition from a few dozen customers to hundreds and thousands in the coming years.
- Innovate and contribute to the development of backend solutions that elevate our search engine's capabilities and user experience.
Requirements
- Experience in the development of micro service-based software architectures.
- Bachelor degree in computer science or comparable.
- Experience in Python and at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, C#.
- Feeling comfortable with a variety of databases (e.g. SQL, MongoDB).
- Passion for new technology and development.
- Ownership and responsibility for your work - "You build it, you run it, you own it".
- Fast-moving trial & error mindset.
- Full remote capabilities (we rely on gather and slack).
