We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team at Digital Charging Solutions GmbH. As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximizing the product's value through the collaborative delivery efforts of the team.
Your Mission- Clarify Requirements: Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure requirements are clear and understandable, addressing questions on both functional and technical aspects.
- Manage Product Backlog: Create and manage the product backlog, which includes both functional requirements and technical aspects such as architecture and infrastructure requirements.
- Prioritize: Ensure items in the product backlog are prioritized based on value to the customer, the company, and technical requirements, including addressing technical debt and optimizing architecture.
- Release Planning: Work with engineers/the agile team to create release plans, ensuring features are released in a timely manner and at regular intervals, considering technical aspects and dependencies.
- Set Acceptance Criteria: Define clear acceptance criteria for each product backlog item to ensure finished features meet both functional and technical requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess technical risks related to the product and collaborate with the team to take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Iteration Planning: Plan iterations and sprints to ensure the development team continuously works on delivering product increments, considering technical tasks and dependencies.
- University degree in Computer Science, business administration, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 4-5 years of experience within the IT industry.
- Experience in agile software development & delivery and/or extensive experience in SaaS operational service delivery.
- Ability to understand complexity metrics in the software development area.
- Strong experience in IT/Software specification and design.
- Profound experience with UML, Restful APIs, Designs Patterns & Cloud Providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience in software development.
- Business know-how in the automotive/mobility industry is a plus.
- Solid communication skills, an agile mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as team-oriented.
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
