Head of Events and Operations

As Head of Events, you will be responsible for developing and implementing event strategies that drive sales generation and new customer acquisition. You will lead a team of event managers and report to the VP Marketing & Brand. Your goal will be to bring EGYM's brand experience to life at events, create touchpoints for our sales team with potential customers, and retain existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement event strategies that integrate brand strategy and sales objectives.
  • Ensure the smooth operational implementation of national and international event formats, such as trade fairs and customer events.
  • Manage a team of event managers and provide guidance on event planning and execution.
  • Develop and evaluate success metrics for events in collaboration with the Marketing Operations team.
  • Work across projects and programs with various stakeholders across the company.
  • Manage the event budget and ensure effective budget planning and control.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of professional experience as an event or project manager of trade fairs, events, and meetups in a complex B2B environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a team lead.
  • Solid experience in an international environment, with a proven track record of implementing event concepts in multiple markets.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments and functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Fluent English language skills; knowledge of German is a plus.
