About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at H-TEC Systems GmbH. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical structures for our electrolysers and electrolysis stacks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical drawings and layouts for plant concepts and detailed design in different project phases
  • Collaborate with product engineering to ensure compliance with guidelines and engineering standards
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including adapting general arrangement drawings, 2D and 3D models, and specifications
  • Involved in procurement processes with suppliers and external service providers for the mechanical design of our plants
  • Check the technical feasibility of specific customer requests and product adaptations
  • Handle customer queries and customize existing products
  • Participate in developing system solutions with existing products
  • Support the responsible bidding, sales, or project manager in direct customer contact
  • Transmit customer feedback and market insights to product management and product development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or design engineering or equivalent education with further training
  • Experience in the development, project planning, and implementation of mechanical structures
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical and design engineering according to international rules and regulations
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks) and PLM systems
  • Confident demeanor in front of customers and an eye for customer-oriented solutions
  • Fluent in English, additional languages, especially German, are a plus
  • Quick comprehension and enjoy analytical and creative activities
