As a Financial Accountant at Q ENERGY, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily financial transactions of our company. Your focus will be on the main business, a renewable power plant EPC service provider.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accuracy and completeness of our general ledgers, AR, and AP by supervising and posting business transactions.
  • Carrying out monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and HGB and preparing appendices for the group company reporting.
  • Supporting the financial audit of QEE by responding to requests from external auditors and contacting relevant internal teams to carry out tasks.
  • Being the contact person for all departments for accounting issues and questions.
  • Handling ad-hoc requests from top management and Head of the Department.
  • Making efforts for continuous development and adjustment of accounting work processes optimization and active advancement of automation, standardization, and digitalization of our accounting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting or any other related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance positions and experience with managing audits.
  • A proven track record in Finance and/or accounting roles within an international environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding and application of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, supported by a globally recognized certification.
  • Proficiency in utilizing SAP and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and management.
  • Fluency in English and German; proficiency in any additional language is a plus.
