Job Title: Senior Village Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Village Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the village, including the management of facilities, security, and housekeeping. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management:
- Develop and maintain a 10-year capex plan to ensure the planned replacement of existing assets before their end of life.
- Propose and evaluate village asset enhancement projects, and project manage those that are supported.
Data:
- Ensure asset data is complete and accurate in Planon and the Information Management System.
- Generate data (metrics and reports) through Planon, demonstrating current levels of performance.
Compliance:
- Lead regular reviews of FM's risk assessments and method statements.
- Conduct regular internal H&S audits to ensure SSoW are being complied with.
Capital Investment:
- Develop and maintain a 10-year capex plan to ensure the planned replacement of existing assets before their end of life.
People:
- Line manage direct reports (FM manager; FM system and data manager).
- Communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with key business stakeholders.
Continual Improvement:
- Audit and assess problems that arise in order to mitigate issues.
- Contribute to the development of Operations strategy.
Finance:
- Develop the opex forecast for current year +1.
- Manage / track the opex budget against the forecast.
Adopt a 'Four Pillars' approach ensuring coordinated delivery of services:
- Drive continuous improvement and promote delivery of the Four Pillars (Retail, Real Estate, Hospitality and Creation of Experience).
