Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for external media communications for a specific therapeutic area (oncology) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and execute media relations, including press releases and press events, to promote the company's brand and messaging.
  • Plan and execute paid media activities to reach key stakeholders and drive business results.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, influencers, and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to engage with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders, and to promote the company's brand and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze trends and developments in social media to inform business decisions.
  • Support patient awareness and education initiatives through various channels, including traditional and digital media.
  • Serve as a media spokesperson for the company and provide strategic communications counsel to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute the communications budget for the therapeutic area.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in brand communications (agency or corporate)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications or related field
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of digital media and marketing channels
  • Experience in developing and executing social media strategies
  • Strong understanding of oncology and cross-functional content creation
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
