Job Description

Overview


  • We are seeking an experienced Global Indirect Procurement Leader to join our team in a similar location.
  • This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of €65,000 - €85,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve efficiency across our global operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize indirect spend categories such as logistics, transportation, warehousing, equipment, and packaging.
  • Collaborate closely with local legal entities globally to develop and execute category strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance standards.
  • Identify potential savings opportunities and support local entities in carrying out procurement initiatives and implementing results.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure added value and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives and performance standards.
  • Implement supplier performance metrics and review suppliers to ensure contract compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform procurement decisions and drive cost savings.
  • Drive digitalization, automation, and efficiency improvements in the Procure-to-Pay process, collaborating with IT departments to prioritize improvements.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect spend.
  • Experience in logistics service (transport/warehouse) procurement is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to perform complex analysis and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Process management skills with a focus on procure-to-pay best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
