Senior Audio and Video Solutions Architect

About the Role:

Tencent Cloud is seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio and Video Solutions Architect to join our Cloud and Smart Industries Group (CSIG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the company's cloud and industry Internet strategy, exploring the interactions between users and industries, and creating innovative solutions for smart industries via technological advancements such as cloud, AI, and network security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the regional sales team as the point of contact for customers in the field of audio and video, providing technical support for pre-sales technical consultation and PoC verification services, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting the business team in achieving their goals.
  • Support the regional architecture team in analyzing customers' media business technology architecture and identifying their needs and values in audio and video scenarios, providing industry solutions and case studies for international markets, such as OTT, social media, gaming, education, and business.
  • Understand industry solutions and combine customers' business and technical requirements with the features of Tencent's audio and video products, helping customers achieve their goal and values, and effectively communicating customer requirements and industry requirements to product development teams.
  • Actively participate in public online and offline product/industry presentations to share Tencent's media product capabilities, industry experience, and insights, enhancing the influence of Tencent Cloud Media Service and strengthening and establishing Tencent's industry customer network in the field of media services.
  • Actively collaborate with the channel and marketing teams to support Tencent Cloud's regional ecosystem partners, including channel empowerment training, participating in workshops, and Media Demo Day.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or above in computer/IT/cloud computing related area.
  • Excellent Chinese and English skills with fluency in communication, public speaking, and solution documents writing.
  • Familiarity with the audio and video field, such as live streaming, video on demand, encoding/decoding, and network transmission.
  • Strong customer-oriented work skills and a good sense of customer service, with the ability to communicate with technical decision-makers.
  • Ability to be stationed in overseas regions for 1-2 years, to support and collaborate with the local regional team.
  • Experience in related industries or working with public clouds is a plus.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills are preferred.
