Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Release Engineer to join our team at Quantum-Systems GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing our CI/CD pipelines to automate the releases of our ground control and AI missions to our drones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: You will work closely with our teams to design and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless automation of our software releases.
  • Infrastructure Automation: You will be responsible for architecting and provisioning our infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud, to support our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Tool Development: You will develop tools to support data management, test automation, automated code checks, and other tasks to enhance our software development process.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with our engineering teams to define and implement continuous improvement plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • University Degree: You must have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • SW Engineering Experience: You must have 3+ years of experience in software engineering or testing.
  • CI/CD Tools: You must have in-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Gitlab/Jenkins, JIRA/Redmine, and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible.
  • Docker and Infrastructure: You must have experience in creating and maintaining Docker files and storage in on-premises Docker registries.
  • Architecting CI/CD Pipelines: You must have experience in architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines and delivery systems.
  • IT Administration: You must be proficient in IT administration for Windows and Linux environments.
