IT Business Continuity Manager

At METRO AG, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Business Continuity Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to ensure the continuity of our IT services and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT Business Continuity (BC) and Service Continuity (SC) plans aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish recovery objectives, strategies, and priorities for IT services and business operations.
- Design and implement resilient architectures, redundancy measures, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
- Establish and oversee testing, training, and exercising programs to validate the effectiveness of IT BC/SC plans and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to incident response teams during crisis situations.
- Monitor and analyze emerging threats, trends, and regulatory requirements related to IT BC/SC, and recommend proactive measures to enhance resilience and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
- 5+ years proven experience in IT Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery (DR), or Service Continuity (SC) roles, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 22301
- Proficiency in BC/SC planning tools, risk assessment methodologies, and incident management platforms.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including cloud technologies, virtualization, and network security.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, analyze impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and lead multidisciplinary teams in crisis situations.
