Electronics Installation Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Installation Specialist to join our team at ChartWorld GmbH. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment on commercial ships worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of electronic equipment on ships, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshooting and repair of navigation equipment both on board and ashore, utilizing your expertise in electronics and mechanics.
- Providing in-house support and 2nd-level support to our clients, leveraging your strong technical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Facilitating training for ship crews on equipment operation and maintenance, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Commissioning and preparation of equipment deliveries, ensuring seamless integration into our clients' operations.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in electronics and mechanics, with a strong understanding of computer networking and mechanical systems.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience in using technical documentation and troubleshooting tools.
- Readiness and willingness to travel as required, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results in a dynamic global environment.
- Strong technical abilities, with a passion for problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
