About the RoleThis internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of information security. You will work closely with our team to support our mission of safeguarding critical data and ensuring a secure environment for our organization.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing and testing concepts and processes related to information security, IT security, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Help implement and maintain security measures across our systems.
- Conduct technical security checks using Vanta.
- Support ongoing cybersecurity projects, including compliance initiatives, risk assessments, and security audits.
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating security policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with industry standards.
- A proactive and ambitious individual with a strong interest in IT security/cybersecurity.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, IT security concepts, and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanners) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a solution-focused mindset.
