We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diploma Student to join our team as a researcher, focusing on enhancing development productivity. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your academic research skills and connect with experts within our Hyperspace unit and SAP's development teams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work on various topics, including:

  • Research and comparison of existing models to define, measure, and predict development productivity
  • Development productivity in the software industry: how enterprise software companies approach it, their priorities, focus areas, and investment topics; comparison to SAP's Hyperspace offering
  • DORA as an industry-leading model towards software delivery performance: industry benchmarking, correlation between software delivery performance and business performance (product and company), governance models to drive improvements for software delivery performance

In this role, you will collaborate with our experienced team to develop innovative solutions that enhance development productivity. You will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to cutting-edge projects, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and continuous delivery approaches.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong academic background in software engineering or a related field
  • Excellent cloud software engineering skills, including a profound understanding of continuous delivery approaches and state-of-the-art technologies
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
