### Job Description

#### About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Master student in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field to join our team at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that focuses on the development and evaluation of AI-based methods for text and symbol removal on floorplans.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Explore state-of-the-art methods for inpainting and their applicability in the context of floorplans
* Collect and/or augment training data
* Implement and train artificial neural networks for inpainting

#### Requirements

* Currently enrolled as a Master student in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
* Basic Python skills (ideally with respect to deep learning applications, e.g., PyTorch or Tensorflow)
* Ability to work independently, good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in deep learning and/or computer vision is beneficial
