We are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group, a leading international aerospace company that develops, manufactures, and tests essential components for launcher programs, spacecrafts, satellites, and defense applications. Our unique manufacturing technologies enable us to create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks.

As a Machine Operator (m/f/d) Tank Production / FSW Welding, you will be responsible for carrying out machine welding and setting weld seams, mechanical processing of tank and structural assemblies, and assisting with the inspection of weld seams using ultrasonic testing. You will also clean the assemblies after completion and pack them in transport containers.

Requirements:

  • Completed industrial/technical vocational training as a cutting machine operator, aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, or comparable training
  • Experience in the FSW welding process (Friction Stir Welding)
  • Ideal knowledge of operating machines with Sinumerik 840 D and proof of operator training in accordance with DIN ISO 24394
  • Willingness to work shifts
