Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Circuit Simulator Developer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our Development Center Dresden, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing our in-house circuit simulator to achieve maximum performance, feature set, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and constantly optimize the circuit simulator to meet the needs of our worldwide user community
  • Improve existing software modules, including refactoring and maintenance of existing code
  • Support our user community and provide technical documentation
  • Participate in EU-funded projects that pursue topics relevant to Infineon-internal simulation communities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related areas
  • Several years of work experience in simulation software development or electronic design automation (EDA) area or algorithm development or a related technical area
  • Excellent programming skills with focus on C++/C in LINUX and Windows environments
  • Good knowledge of SystemC programming language
  • In the best case: Experience in developing co-simulation environments and coupling algorithms
  • Understanding of numerical methods, high-performance data structures, and algorithms and memory optimization techniques
  • Self-motivation with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Some hands-on experience with SPICE-simulators or simulation frameworks
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, German language skills are a plus
