Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Director to lead our high-volume prep, process, and assemble fulfillment centre in Verden. As a key member of our team, you will drive the culture and manage daily activities, working closely with our Operations Associate Director to develop and implement strategies for success.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on our operations. You will be responsible for managing production, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage and motivate a large team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals
  • Ensure adequate communication of company goals and priorities to the Production Centre team
  • Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages employee engagement and retention
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial kitchen or production operations, preferably in food service or food production
  • Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in a start-up environment, comfortable with changing priorities and showing entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage a large team
  • Interest in spending most of your time on the shop floor and working directly with all levels of staff

Salary Estimate

We estimate the salary for this role to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
