About the Role:

Festo is seeking a highly skilled SAP Consultant Configuration to join our international agile team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing long-term technology and deployment strategies, consulting with business departments and product owners, and coordinating developments with various sourcing partners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop software in the Festo configuration environment in SAP LO-VC and SAP S4/Hana backend processes.
  • Develop long-term technology and deployment strategies.
  • Consult with business departments and product owners regarding technical options.
  • Coordinate developments with various sourcing partners.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners in product modeling, product management, and product development.
  • Provide second-level support for software modules and solutions managed by the team.
  • Test, accept, and roll out solutions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in global software projects as a project manager and/or software architect.
  • Excellent ABAP OO knowledge and programming experience.
  • Good SAP knowledge with a focus on configuration (VC) and Sales (SD).
  • Good knowledge of current software technologies and understanding of overarching IT architectures.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Strong analytical, holistic, and conceptual thinking.
  • Goal orientation, communication skills, and assertiveness.
  • Integration and teamwork skills.
