Job Title: Integration Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Test Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As an Integration Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom test equipment for data acquisition, measurement, and failure injection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess test requests and refine them together with the design team
  • Liaise with test experts from different test departments
  • Identify instrumentation requirements in relation to aircraft, system, and sub-system specifications
  • Design and develop custom test equipment for data acquisition, measurement, and failure injection
  • Evaluate test concepts with idealization of physical effects and first-principle reasoning
  • Develop complex test rigs and setups and coordinate our support teams
  • Take ownership of E-Motor Test Benches and critical Powertrain Distribution Units
  • Perform test execution with automated test tools and measurement equipment
  • Evaluate test reports and results
  • Creation of Failure Analysis Reports/defect reporting when required
  • Report and discuss test results with the system development team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of testing experience
  • Good knowledge and experience with multi-kW electrical machines and drives
  • Experience in HV System Integration Lab is desirable
  • Good understanding of network protocols like CAN, ARINC, RS422/485, UART, ethernet
  • Good understanding of mechatronics basics on sensors, actuators, and controller systems
  • High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, Fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
