Automotive Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship

Are you passionate about alternative drive technologies?

Do you want to learn about state-of-the-art electric and hybrid drives, battery technologies, new vehicle electrical systems, and charging systems?

This apprenticeship will teach you everything you need to know about our electric vehicles, including assistance systems, autonomous driving, and vehicle networking.

Your tasks

  • Diagnose, maintain, and adjust vehicles and mechatronic systems, such as brakes and steering, automatic transmission, chassis, and engine management.
  • Use knowledge and networked systems, high-voltage systems, comfort and safety systems, and wireless signal transmission systems.
  • Perform vehicle inspections in accordance with road traffic regulations.

Qualifications

  • Technical understanding and manual talent.
  • Good knowledge of mathematics and physics.
  • Interest in modern vehicle technologies.
  • Good color vision.
  • Sense of responsibility, diligence, and precise way of working.
