ONB Test

About the Role

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled ONB Test & Commissioning Leader to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our DACH regional headquarters, you will be responsible for leading the test, verification, and delivery of signaling subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute T&C activities, including resource allocation and documentation.
• Verify compliance of signaling systems with system specification documents and contractual requirements.
• Apply extensive expertise as a generalist or specialist to meet company standards.
• Develop T&C procedures for subsystems based on defined specifications.
• Interface with Engineering and V&V subsystem leaders for optimizing site tests and sharing resources.
• Provide technical leadership to individuals or teams for tools, procedures, and problem-solving.
• Lead or participate in technical discussions with customers and represent the company.
• Report progress and issues to the Project Field Operation Manager or T&C Manager.
• Ensure all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools.
• Develop resources competency for other T&C team members.
• Guarantee all tests are made in full safety.

About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
• Multiple years of experience in T&C or V&V activities for signaling projects.
• Deep knowledge of one or more signaling subsystems.
• Interface with V&V, Design, Installation stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of German and English language (read, written, spoken).
• Driving license and flexibility regarding mobility.
• Resilience with an analytic way of thinking to solve complex system failures.
