About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Procurement Specialist to join our motivated team in the Sourcing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for procurement processes for projects in collaboration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement processes for projects in collaboration with other departments
  • Preparation of inquiry documents, obtaining and evaluating offers for project-specific purchasing components such as electronic controls, instrumentation components, valves, and dampers
  • Clarification of technical requirements with project teams and suppliers
  • Overall evaluation of offers in technical and commercial aspects with project team support
  • Leading price and contract negotiations
  • Preparation and presentation of supplier decisions
  • Identification and presentation of cost-saving potentials
  • Responsible for complete supplier communication, particularly regarding schedule tracking and change management throughout the project until handover

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration, alternatively technical studies with commercial additional qualification, or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in industrial procurement, preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or automotive industry
  • Experience in international product development and procurement processes
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain Management and project management
  • Proficient in Target Costing and value analysis
  • Very good knowledge of ERP, SAP, and MS Office
  • Excellent German and English language skills in written and spoken form
  • Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, structured approach
  • High degree of cooperation and team readiness, self-organization
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills even in an international setting
  • Intercultural competence and occasional willingness to travel
