About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Defence to join our team. As a Project Manager Defence, you will be responsible for managing projects in the Defence sector and monitoring their success in terms of deadlines, quality, budget, turnover, and contribution margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects in the Defence sector and monitor their success in terms of deadlines, quality, budget, turnover, and contribution margin.
- Be involved in quotations and bidding issues.
- Coordinate the specialist departments involved internally, work with external service providers and co-operation partners, and act as the interface to the customer.
- Organise internal and external project meetings.
- Create project documentation (minutes, status reports, presentations for project reviews, etc.).
Requirements
- Completed engineering studies in the field of economics, mechanical engineering, or comparable.
- Experience in large and complex project teams, preferably in the defence sector.
- Experience in the application of common project management processes/tools.
- High degree of independent, cooperative, autonomous, and structured working methods within interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong system-orientated thinking and entrepreneurial approach.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
- Confident handling of MS Office, SAP, etc.
- Convincing demeanour, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel internationally.
- Security clearance may be required.
