About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control System Design Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and specifying Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems for rotating equipment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems for rotating equipment projects.
  • Conduct Unit Control panel factory acceptance tests (FAT) and specify and calculate control valves.
  • Monitor and manage the engineering schedule and hours-budget for assigned scope, including on-time release of deliverables.
  • Conduct timely design reviews on assigned scope and contribute to project design reviews.
  • Innovate and implement cost-effective solutions for COMOS PT development, requirements management, and prevent non-conformances during project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Instrumentation, Controls, or Electrotechnical discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications.
  • Application experience with object-oriented Engineering Software, such as COMOS PT.
  • Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of standards: API 670, IEC Explosive Atmosphere Standards, IEC 61511.
  • Proficiency in English and German Language.
