Accountable for guaranteeing that the technical outputs of a comprehensive initiative align with client specifications and product outlines. Tasked with delivering innovative technical solutions within budgetary and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities:

Oversee technical outputs from initial concept through to production transition and project handover to ongoing support teams. Provide strategic project guidance to the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) responsible for achieving project objectives. Establish and fulfill client specifications and project definitions. Collaborate intimately with Engineering Teams and Value Streams. Facilitate processes and protocols within Engineering while interfacing with other organizational functions. Coordinate communication with clients regarding technical issues. Travel to client locations, suppliers, and other facilities to assist with project initiatives. Manage potential risks and opportunities. Foster client relationship development. Maintain awareness of processes and ongoing improvement efforts that enhance Engineering outputs. Adhere to Engineering protocols and methodologies. Oversee change management scope and the integration of modifications into projects. Manage Engineering milestone tracking. Oversee project-related costs, planning, and resource allocation.

Key Outputs

Ensure all Engineering outputs meet external technical and project specifications of the client. Guarantee that all internal technical and external outputs are achieved. Assist with Final Assembly and integration activities from the client or integrator. Support the product change management process. Execute client-defined contractual deliverables. Promote continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all requirements is achieved. Support the production process and product assembly. Communicate and address any issues hindering the progress of Engineering outputs, delivery, and installation promptly.

Additional Responsibilities:

Track project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates. Report on advancements related to the technical aspects of the project plan. Regularly update Internal Stakeholders on project status. Report on the acceptance of technical outputs prior to maturity gates and project evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering or a related Aerospace field. Proven professional experience within the Aerospace sector. Ability to work independently with managerial oversight. Capable of influencing others through clear communication of facts, policies, and procedures. Proficient in German and English at a business level. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
