Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage the daily financial operations of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions and reporting, and collaborating with the external accounting service provider. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing key accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to provide financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support the preparation of tax filings and audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally supporting finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
