IT Service Technician with Electrical Expertise

Are you looking for a challenging role that combines your technical skills with your passion for electrical systems? We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Technician with electrical expertise to join our team at GULP – experts united in Nuremberg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and monitor the infrastructure, including generators, cooling systems, access controls, and more.
  • Install new equipment, such as racks and server cabinets, and plan, set up, and organize the necessary infrastructure.
  • Manage service providers and warehouse operations.
  • Provide customer support and carry out maintenance work.
  • Coordinate service providers, prepare for audits, and offer support.

Requirements:

  • Technical or IT-related training, such as an IT specialist for system integration, electrician, or refrigeration system fitter.
  • Initial experience in a data center or service center.
  • Minor electrician's license is desirable.
  • IT affinity and conversational German and advanced English skills.
  • Open personality and a willingness to learn new things.
  • Interest in taking on responsibility and helping to build up the data center.
  • On-call duty (approximately every 2-3 weeks for one week).
