Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at Samsung Semiconductor in Munich. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety and implementing comprehensive programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS strategies and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and best practices.
- Manage and maintain EHS records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, occupational health and safety).
- Completed training as "SiFa/SiBe" or equivalent.
- Experience as an EHS specialist with a strong knowledge of German EHS regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve EHS goals.
